Fish oils are rich in Omega-3 FATTY ACID. They help with improving heart, immune, brain, joint articulation and kidney health. What is critical is to choose the best and healthiest product.
1. Basic fish oil comes from the livers of codfish. Can be high in PCP's, DDT and mercury. The product has low concentrations of Omega-3FA. Can only be taken in low doses.
2. Health-Food Grade Fish Oil (HFGFO). PCB can still be present. Typically 300mg of Omega-3 per 1 gram capsule.
3. Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil. Starts with thermally fractionated HFGFO. Then it is distilled. A process that takes 100 gallons to get one gallon. The product is then balanced to the correct ratio of EPA to DHA (2:1). The product has very low levels of impurity. Safe to take in higher dosages and has 600mg of Omega-3 FA to every one gram.
Which product would you choose and put in your body?
